Hey wasn't sure where to post this thread, but Im looking to do things to help the handling of my 88 yota. It isnt a HUGE problem but Ive had 3 close calls since I had the truck and I would like to avoid it at all cost.

My rear end just really loves to lock up and slide, it's cool to do on purpose and drift. But when it rains its so nerve racking, it just happened the other day will pouring on the highway, I tapped the break to slow down to up coming traffic and next thing I know, Im driving from my passenger side window.....

the truck has 4" blocks in the back and good tires but I think it's between not having any weight and the drum brakes. Non-ABS cars are nothing new to me, I NEVER slam the brakes, but there are rare times where Ill just be coming to a slow stop at a light and my left rear tire is screaming and smoking. That's what leads me to believe it is the brakes that need to be adjusted.

The front of the car handles and rides perfect, but that RWD will be the death of me.

Load sensing valve attached to the rear axel when lowering the rear the valve lsv valve thinks there's a heavy load in the back increasing rear break pressure mine acts up every now in then sometimes it's normal and then sudden lock up when on the breaks ..I adjusted mine the thin rod that connects to the axel to help a little ...u wanna get the arm closer to its original position ..

Yep, either that or swap in a summit manual proportioning valve.

Ya..all u have to do is bring the line to a stock hight.. Coz wen u drop your truck it thinK's that u have a load on your bed so by bringing the line a bit higher it will think it's on stock hight
