so today i changed the oil by myself for the first time ever and it was a trip... some of you would have laughed ur a$$es off if u watched me... haha so i get the bolt off the pan and it falls onto the pan... well 1 i forgot to pop the air hole open so the oil was backing up but for the most part... the bolt clogged up the hole... hahha so im stickin my nice pair of work gloves in all the oil tryin to pull the damn thing out and finally do once i spill quite a bit out of the pan... so once i ripped the glove off my hand cuz it was starting to burn me... i got everything situated, put the bolt back in and went to find the oil filter... finally found it after about 15 minutes of looking... then im all bent under the car, sitting under it in the wheel well, hanging over the corner panel trying to get to it from the top... then finally fiound a way and got it... put the new one on and put new oil in... so yeh... i was pretty much a mess... but hey! i did it! haha blow me as much sh!t as u want... haha :D

hahah thanks... next time i will def. be smarter and not drop the screw into the oil pan hole! its def. better than payin twice as much to have valvoline change it... it cost me $20 for oil and oil filter! last time i went to valvoline, i spent 44 bucks!!!!!!!!! it was sooo much easier than i thought!

yeah, its crazy in prices, like in my old job (jiffy lube), they charge 36.99 for an oil change. It is easier for me to go to the auto part store and pay about 13.00 for oil and oil filter and put it myself.

yup haha the only time i will have someone change my oil is if its cold as hell outside and i dont wont to lay in the snow and do it... (my garage is full of bathroom fixtures and what-not... it cost me 44 at valvoline for the maxlife stuff.... got the same things for 20!!!! a 20$ labor charge is absolutly insane....
