Quick easy way to gain 1/2 quart of oil capacity from stock oil filter is to use an older Ford V8 oil filter. toyota basic oil filter holds roughly 1/2 qt. ford older v8 filter can hold 1 full qt.
use a 30,001 purolator filter which is for a old landcruiser but i know my 22re in my celica takes 5 quarts of oil to the full mark with it
same as a PH8A fram....... not that i would use a fram but thats the part number it crosses over to, that and a S8 in a stp, i think K&N is a ph1004??? might wanna check. i use a 70's ford mustang as ref.
ph8a is a pretty general v8 filter. i like being able to have a few and it fits my yota and all our dodges. lol.
Bump!!!! hey all im just wondering... do any of you know how to trick out a stock 22r carb??? ive heard of these and ive driven some and they respond good when secondary opens..kinda like vtec! any1 have any insights?
Okay. (edit) I (edit) like this area, FAQ: where do you look through the parts catalog that blows everything up and, u kno, tags all the part numbers? Well that's a good question; I've seen these upside down in a book way back and on many computer screens. There must be a place to find these online, stashed away, maybe physical for some one to take a picture? ...and who runs this place anyway, can we get a clean up on aisle #3 !? Speaking of which, am in gonna get I trouble for mass uploading my fsm and related materials?
Hmm, we need a place for that..I remember seeing the greatest sh!t on this site but it hard to find ish. But yeah, down!
Also, not sure yet but Depop may be where I post to an e-commerce site with 'Vintage' Toyota parts?? As far as I can tell it's not restricted, can't sell perfume or fire extinguishers tho..I can live with. Etsy ppl do it and they're also mad about it I think.
