Not sure if it's been covered, didn't quite know what to call it.

Is it possible to just start ripping most or all of the vacuum lines off of my 22re? There are no inspections around these parts, and I want to clean up the bay before bagging.

you sould be able to get rid of the egr system, best thing to do (as i havent done this to a RE yet) is call LC engineering and ask them, that and you can order the block off plates for the head/ intake and so forth..sorry i cant help anymore than that..

so what's keeping the AC going with teh motor without the idle up?

that sounded confusing, like, how does the motor run without the idle up?

The idle up is used so when the wheel is turned or the ac is on at a dead stop the engine idles up a few hundred rpm. I took mine off.....it didn't make a difference so off it stays.

Hey 93Yoter do you have any pics posted of your engine bay? I would like to see it. I think I will go the same way you did and eliminate all of the junk. My AC kick up doesn't work anyway now that you mention it.

Pics please yoter and a little write up if possible. I'm also interested in this because my motor is being pulled soon. Did you do all this with your plenum swap?
