I thought about it. but i like the stock O.G sleeper look as much as possible. maybe later Ill do the cosmetics to make it look good but im going to stick with the wide a$$ dumbo mirrors too haha.

man....... that thing is gonna need some serious weight distribution! forgot how well the turbo is centered in there and how easy of a curve the downpipe has. very nice

 

Thanks guys. I had to notch the hood a bit to fit around the radiator but the downpipe being built went very well and did the entire exhaust in 6 hours. Its what I do so it was cake. that t67 turbo was my best investment yet. cant wait to install the 5 speed. it just pulls harder as I get into the higher rpms. Btw ill be driving to fresno, ca on wednesday. not sure if anyone is near the area but im down to meet up for a bit. thats where im picking up my r154 trans.

Oh yeah it will. I was shifting the auto manually yesterday, and when I was at 6500 rpms I shifted and the truck got sideways! boy did that get my attention. the manual will be nice. no more converter slippage

well they have seen it happen before but that's only in like high powered diesel trucks lol... those trucks are insane btw scariest truck i have ever rode in was a ford power stroke he had almost 38lbs of boost...

 

Still blows my mind to here that those diesels can force that kind of air into that engine and still drive home 200 miles. ford, chevy, and dodge have one stout diesel engine. theres a video I saw of a 10 sec duramax or cummins truck that launched in 4wd with like 38 inch tires! lol so crazy

 

yeah that truck was nuts he basically got a full race transmission... to the tune of about 7k >< deep pockets

I have pics up of the 5 speed I just got.theres a thread on it. ill keep everyone posted as I get more stuff. I have tons and tons of footage of when I did the single turbo swap just need to edit and post.

 

that is my next mod is the 1jz swap. 22r was cool with bolt ons back in 97, but now gotta have boost to keep up esplecially wit deez sti's n evos

 

I hang out with at least 9 subaru's and a handful of RSX's. the closest truck would be a single cab Dakota and then the F150 Lightning that has hella bunch of mods.
