I'm looking to delete my egr system and am keeping the original carb and vacuum system and was wondering for any recommendations on specific brands to purchase the block plates as well as if I need to block off the plate in the way back of the engine where the exhaust would typically be cooled. I have a 1976 with the 20r. Any help is much appreciated, thank you.
LC Engineering has a complete block off kit. You dont have to do the back of the head. Mainly EGR and all the vacuum small ports except to the distributor. Some guys did desmog and keep the stock carb but certain things had to be retained iirc
