This might be a stupid question to some of you, but it's probably a question a few have/had. So Im thinking about building a 22re for my truck but I fear having to basically find a donor vehicle to get the all the computer stuff... Is there any system you can buy and hookup that doesn't use a million sensors or a bunch of stupid sh*t and miles of wiring? Basically what's the absolute easiest way to go from carb'd to efi?
Get the factory efi manifold and wiring harness from an 89-95 truck. It is by far the easiest efi you'll be able to bolt on. There really isn't much to it once you yank the emission crap and 400 vacuum lines off of it.
