In the process of building my "hybrid" I found that the center cam cap of my 20R "donor" was not torqued at all. Because of this, the aluminum surfaces were badly damaged. I found these "Dura-Bond TOG8" bearings that can be placed after machining the head. Anyone knows anything about these? Are they reliable? And how much will they charge for installing them... They only cost ~$26

Melling is there parent company we use durabond on a daily basis at my work you'll be fine using those products I'd only advise checking your cam torque specs after there installed the cam should move freely buy hand with assembly lube when torqued I have torqued a few Toyota cams to factory specs on refurbished and new cast heads and they were way to tight

^ that's caused by slightly bent crank shafts from removeing it the wroung way

I have never scene a cam move by hand in less garbing by the cam gear

reason being alum expands faster and more when heated then steel so this will give you good clearance

I shoulda mentioned with cam gear installed unless the person has really strong fingers reasons for warped cams over torqued head and or overheating, improper install exc.. As far as price naz that really just depends on your area and machinist I would checkout some aftermarket cam"s while your at it
