I’ve heard that the bell tech 5976 should be used on 89-94 trucks. I have a 94 and just trying to avoid the headache of returning springs. So should all the 89-94 use the 5976 instead of the 5978?

 

I do remember someone going over this and they did return their springs.. I also remember someone else stating that the bushings were on backwards( fronts were in back and backs were in front.. search through 89/95 suspension section for that thread as I remember they included pictures!

 

Thank you. I did see that post. Was wondering if that was an isolated incident or something you have to be mindful of when ordering your springs. I was thinking about actually getting the street edge springs and didn’t know if I needed to order the springs for the 79-88 or 89-95. Just curious if anybody had any experience with their part numbers.

Yeah I seen that was thinking that it was just an issue with the 89 model year. But then seen where somebody with a 92 was having the same issue. I guess I’ll just get the 5978 and hope for the best
