I'm installing my spindles today.I got to reinstalling the drop spindle but, when I was tightening the upper ball joint the bolt with the taper kept spinning.Should I hit the spindle in an upward motion to seat the spindle on to the taper? thanks

If you can get a pry bar in there to pull down on the upper control arm to hold tension on it then start tightening the nut that should seat the balljoint shaft and stop it from spinning

Find a way to put pressure against the BJ so it doesnt spin. You could probably raise the whole assembly. So the BJ moves in the cup and most likely will stop spinning.

Use an Impact and jounce it to get it to seat. Should be no big deal.

I put a 2x4 on top of the bj and up to the fender well and jacked it up and that did the trick.I made some progress today but,the belltech 2000 kit was missing a couple of 12mm bolts to hold the dust cover on and I haven't had a chance to get them. I'll have to call Belltech to update that kit,it's slightly different than the stock one.

They are always missing those 2 bolts....I had to get them from Toyota (dealer). You also have to trim the plate behind the brake rotor to get it to fit.

I got my drop spindles and shocks put on and running.I like the ride,I don't have to be over cautious of bumps.I can go over railroad tracks @ a good speed as well as cement water gutters in the street.I'm 3" in the front and rear.
