Drive shaft rubbing against cross memeber HELP!!

    Bought the truck and was running fine, over time I noticed after trying to do a burn out with some weight in the bed a load grinding noise coming from under the truck and found out my drive shaft is rubbing against the cross memeber idk what would have caused this to happen anyone please help

    Which crossmember? The 'horse collar' one under the cab or the one above the gas tank? The horse collar should have plenty of clearance, so my immediate thought is it's the one at the gas tank area.

    If I were to take a guess, someone lowered the rear of the truck without correcting the pinion angle afterward, thus the driveshaft is now too close to the crossmember and touches when suspension compresses.
