They both came with names. No idea where the names came from or why, but in boats, it's considered bad luck to change the name without significant ceremony, so Pablo and Trixie they remain.

My 89 is named Lil B. Short for Little Boy. When I first went over to look at it, I started it up and the first thing I thought of as the engine reved was a little kids voice saying: "Grrr! I'm a big, scary Kenworth!"

The Explorer has fought off the nick name (As I imagine all Explorers have at some point) Dora, and remains The Explorer, like The Situation on Jersey Shore.
Its just a big ol', lifted, big tire'd, V-8, gas-guzzling, loud and obnoxious, douchebaggy ride that isn't politically correct and likes it that way.

 

My 2011 double cab taco is named Leah. Because Leah remini is one fine woman. And I like to know I can go for a ride in Leah when I want to!

 

I named mine House. It's cranky and doesn't like being told what to do, and someone before me painted it with housepaint.

 

My 87 truck is old yeller my fox body is whitey ford or foxy depends on how her big block is running and my bike is called the ditch digger or the undertaker cause its probly going to kill me

What if you call your motors a different name like, my truck is called (old yeller) but the motor is called( the torque monster ) and the motor in the fox is (Big Bertha)

 

I just call mine Not Forgotten, because I foolishly traded my first truck (an 82) in high school and never forgot about that stupid mistake, everything I do to this truck is in memory of my first one and I try to give her only the best that I can.

My 8 year old calls mine her "Cool Ole Yota" but when she was smaller she would say it so fast it sounds like "Cool ta ta "... That has kinda stuck.
