Hi I am wondering what the electrical sensor thing does on my rear end. I have a 92 extra cab 2wd. There is an electrical plug on the diff and I am wondering what it does. I kinda want to remove it permanent like. So can I drive around without it?

I've been airbagging my truck and I would like to remove the electrical plug on the rear end. It has 2 wires coming out of it and they are part of the gas tank harness. They run into the cab (to the computer i guess). I have not had my truck up and running for a while so I can't exactly start it up and find out if it will work. Can anyone tell me what it does?

Okay I did some bad Google searching and found out it is an abs sensor. That sounds right. I can delete it. Thanks for your help.
