Diesel Toyota

    Any of you guys know anything about the old Toyota diesels? If you can find rebuild kits for them or anything like that. I've found a few of them and I've been thinking of trying to get one as a project.

    Rebuild able, reliable but lacking power which is why they did not go over well in the states. I'd love to get one but never found one local!

    one guy comes through my work with trucks in the 79 body style, and says his current one is at 800,000 miles. and apperantly they are the only truck he buys, he says not great on power, but ~50 mpg, and virtually maintanence free.. other then oil,

    Oh yes! Oil that looks like porridge and it still runs. Love the toyotas.
