hey everyone, been lurking on some of your builds looking for a while now and figured i'd sign up since im going to be doing alot of work on my 95 pickup in the next week (spit and sputter turned into needing spark plugs which pulled threads from head, which revealed cracked head which led to engine being lubricated by a 50/50 mix of oil/water:brickknock:) well i'm 25 and am building my truck and a 69 bmw 2002, both will be drifted and autocrossed at somepoint

Ventura, got the engine pulled last night but bellhousing bolts weren't long enough to bolt engine stand up to it. No one seems to have longer bolts so im gonna make some new tabs and pull the top end and main caps and check out the bottom end tonight. Taking plenty of pics so expect a build thread in near future ;) also building a old f100 unibody truck at my shop too just finished the front mustang 2 conversion and c-notches and moving onto the rear jag irs swap....busy busy

I cut my engine stands mount tubes down the four adjustable hollow mounting tubes took a hack saw and took a inch off each one ..for my block to mount still excepts other blocks as well ..I dunno why they make them so long ..that is if you own the engine stand slice it up

I don't own it but i ended up puting the tubed side on the stand and used flat washer to space the block away... not perfect but it will work. Atleast untill i need to pull the rear main :)
