So I have been wanting to change up all the knobs on the hilux dash. Stock has 4, I have 5. I ran a second wiper switch in the 3rd divot for the air horns. Wired to the high position to make it easier to use.

Anyways, I have been rounding up 70s dodge truck dash knobs. They are a nice metal one with ribbed edges and a recess center disc. Some were blank, some said things like "cargo light" or "wipers". Having a hard time finding more blanks. The various dodge ones mount different depending what switch they went on. Toyotas are the same way though. The blank dodge has a set screw though.

Then I had a brilliant idea tonight. I want blown glass ones. Well that would be spendy to have made. Then the ultimate light bulb lit up in my noggin. Don't ask what inspired me lol . I have lots of old broken glass pipes. The mouth part might work. Or bong bowl pieces. They already have a hole on the back. Just needs some epoxy then drill it out and glue it on. I may try and tackle a few tonight.

What kind of other nifty ideas do people have? I spend alot of time in my truck and like changing the little things up alot to keep me from being bored with it.

just clean em out good you don't want a para charge if you get pulled over and those might give em a reason to search your ride

One thing I'm going to be doing: I got two Push/pull switches from Grainger that I'm going to use for the switched wires on the amps. (they'll be wired to the deck, but I like to be able to turn off each amp individually) I still have to figure out how to mount the knobs on the switches, but what I will use for knobs is the red and yellow air brake pulls from a big rig.
I also like the looks of these:

Like the Dodge ones, the rings are either blank or have descriptions of what they run, Lights, lighter, ect.

Those are like the dodges but the black and chrome are opposite. I don't want big rig pushers but that is a cool idea. My dad is a trucker.

I run a switch for my stereo decks too. Easier to kill the noise in a hurry to listen to the truck or answer the phone. Don't need keys to listen to stuff either. Also doesn't come to life just cuz you started the truck.
