Hi all

i have a 1992 4 x4 Hilux pickup with a 3L diesel engine. recently the dash board warning lights does not come on when i turn the ignition to ON position.
only seatbelt warning and break warning (parking break on) lights come on.

all others (heater /glow plug, diesel filter , battery )does not come on. i notice the relay click sound that comes probably with heater/glow plug also not present.
additional the warning buzzer that sounds when i keep the ignition ON for few second also does not sound when this happen.

but when i bump the key to START position the lights come on. and engine starts
problem is i cannot heat the engine with this issue before starting in the morning.

this is a intermittent problem, and i check with my mechanic this issue did not happen and guy check all related fuses and cleaned them (removed the oxide build on the contacts)

anybody has any ideas?
can this be a issue with the ignition switch ?

I would start by using a multimeter to check the ignition switch.
