customer's truck

    1992 st cab
    Test drive a customer's truck today, It's a 1984 toyota truck it has a 22r block with 20r head, Stage 2 cam, header, It was pretty quick, Customer said the head give's it better compression, Anyone on this forum have this done to there truck?:cool:

    Yea the 22/20r hybrid pretty popular Better flowing intake manifold head and oem header than the 22r I believe it's a all oem parts swap not to sure tho

    Early 22R bottom end and a 20R head bolts right up no modifications needed. I'm on my 3rd one in my truck now. It's rather peppy and it has a higher powerband than a stock 22R for sure.


    I'm pretty much running the same as the OP's customer with a single side draft and it's not too shabby. Not fast by any stretch of the imagination but it's ok.
