Can anyone tell me if crown Victoria wheels will fit . The thing is I'm not sure how to find out without just testing them, but I don't want to buy them without knowing if will fit. If someone could tell me what measurements to take that would be helpful too. Thanks guys.

Just beware because in my truck they'll hit in the front fenders if I try to drop it more.

they fit, you just need hubcentric rings. The hub bore is larger on the crown vic wheel.

You only need hubcentric rings if you are running a flat faced lugnut. If you run the standard conical nut they center the wheel perfectly.

I love those rx7 rims i think they have correct offsets so no need for wheel spacers

I run a slightly different version of the crown vic wheels (called a sport mesh wheel).

no spacer, no hub ring, nada.

Go to the junkyard a little often, you might be able to buy a set from there like I did, remember that a lot of people are after those kind of wheels right now. I got my set for like $150 about 6 months ago.

I know, old thread, but wanted to reply to this..

This isn't a ****-hot idea.. Toyota didnt design the studs/hubs to take the weight that way, all the weight in shear at the face of the hub on the studs.

Hubcentric rings take the weight from the wheel and put it on the little stubs on the rear drums and the hubs on the front.. so the studs only have to hold the wheels onto the hub/drums in stretch..

Toyota didnt design putting big *** chrome rims on minis but its done every day..those crown vic rims are prob lighter than the stock steelies from Toyota. I dont own either so couldnt tell ya but if I had either of those Id roll them.

    Ok.. what's your point though?

The rim weight isnt the concern.. and the crown vic wheels do look great.. looking for a set myself.. and when I find em I'll drop $25 at the local tire store to pick up a set of rings so that the wheels stay where they're supposed to..

When we stiffen the suspension and start hittin bump stops, thats a lot more shock and stress on the studs than they were designed for too.. its just a good idea.. unless you like trying to drive with 3 wheels down the freeway..
