My 72 needs shoes ! I was wondering if anyone has pics of there trucks with stock rims off another vehicle. I am going to go junk yard shopping... This is the cheapest option for a custom look i think.

I like the little 14 w/hubs that are on it, but I was thinking the swirled stock s10 rims from a few years back might look good too.

    any other suggestions.

s10 wheels are a different bolt pattern. i like the 16" crown vic meshes, ford probe gts, some mustang wheels, prelude 5 lugs, charger/300 rims, they are all good options. im about to put some 14" ralley rims from a 67 plymouth onto my 78. just need to clean them up and mount them. itll be a tight fit, thats for sure. lol.

Mustang rims are probably your best bet...

i want to say 64 1/2-73 maybe up to 78. late 91ish to current.

there were several years that they were 4 lug, including most of the fox body years. of course most of the wheels are pretty ugly until the later 90's, and the good lookin 60's wheels aren't gunna be sitting in a junkyard... lol

exactly. keep an eye out on craigslist. theres a few members running various mustang wheels on different body style trucks. shonuff has 17s on his 75 for a good example. im sure he will post a shot for you. or let me see if i can find one.

How about staying old-school, like when your truck was new?

I put 14 x 6 aluminum slots on my 74 HiLux. I have a set of late-70's Celica center caps which should fit in the open center hole in the wheels.

These won't work if you plan on slamming your ride, unless you get a deep offset (these wheels typically have a zero offset). I do want to lower mine an inch front and rear, just to get them closer to the wheel well.

I like those too. I didnt find anything at junkyard that would fit. I may start craigslisting it here soon.
