Well I just checked my codes and 14 came up. It has to do with the IGF signal from the ingniter is in put to the the ECM for 4 consecutive ignition. I have been investigating a miss fire in Cylinder # 1. i have checked the egr, and i can smell fuel coming out the exhaust so I don't think its the injector. I have had this car hooked up to a scope, and that was all good. SO im wonder whats next....:brickknock:

if wires, plugs, cap, and rotor are in good shape. Start checking connections. a bad connection, wire shorting out, or bad ecu, is the cause of this code usually. I had the same code FOREVER! then found it was a bad reading at the crank angle sensor.

I gots no truck, for now
the igf is a confirmation signal to the ecm that the ignitor fired...its not going to break anything, but if the light bothers ya i have an extra ignitor ( black plug) you could try to see if the code goes away.

Its been a crazy week, but the wires are good, and I forgot to throw in that my plug has some oil on it, its not a ton, but it took about a 3 weeks to burn a quart of oil. I got to wait tell my engine cools to do the injector.

I don't even see the light when the engines running so its not annoying. I'm just trying to see if i can fix this miss that doesn't require any heavy engine work. I just don't have the time or the money to do a rebuild.:rolleyes2:
