I did it. Just read that article and follow it exactly (same thickness metal). Otherwise you'll end up like me where if flexes too much.

Or just try to shorten the push rod on the master cylinder and then box it into your firewall but that way doesn't always look the best.

This is what's in my truck.

A remote reservoir will be the best bet for the fluid reservoir. 93/95 Honda Civic's have a plastic res that mounts on the firewall. Or Scott's Hot Rods has a full show res milled from billet aluminum.

I just installed this in my truck. Its clean, the mounting hardware and hose are hidden.;)

Another option would be a Willwood pedal assembly.

It was all a pain in the ass, so be patient and prepared.:waytogo:

Check out this thread. On page 8 or 9 I believe. Shows a really clean way of doing it. IMO I would rather have an automatic. How you have to do it looks horrible and not show quality. But I guess if you are stuck with stick, here is the alternative. I always thought to tuck 18's you don't have to cut into the firewall. If you are doing all that work and haven't gotten the wheels yet, I say go with 20's like what I'm doing and run a low pro tire.

Thats not true... I have no "z" and had to clearance alot on the firewall to lay out without the wheels bangin' on the firewall... And they still hit a bit just before the x member does... On 18's

    This is my clutch master

I turned it around! I welded a tab on the top of the pedal so it would work backwards! I can pop out my vent to fill the reservoir! I will post more detailed pics in a min

I really like what you have done with yours. I have seen a few different ways it has been done and this looks the cleanest so far besides putting an all in one unit in.
