If the manufactures really wanted to get rid of those cars then they would sell them for what they have in them. I work at a dealership & lets just say that "most" vehicles are marked up more than half when they are sold!!
Get someone with a HUGE TUNDRA 4X4 over the Ford trucks. But Hell, all of those jobs lost, and new cars unsold; no wonder how come the world is going to S***.
Talk about " Dude,Wheres my car !" Adding to that and in agreement, If they would stop inflating the prices so bad and making so many different makes and models and spending millions in worthless, not needed changes, maybe, just maybe some workers would still have their jobs. Add to that the fact that the rich man keeps getting richer and the poor man pays the price while the fat cats sit back and grin, amazing how that goes. I say despite the workers and countless other jobs being lost, I hope that some of these companys learn how to run a business before they go totally broke and I hope that they remember that the consumer comes first in any business not themselves . . .
