Took my cat off gutted it and put a glasspak on and as soon as i left the muffler shop the truck seemed really slugish. Is this normal. Will the computer adjust itself since no it has less back pressure. When i got home about 30 mins of driving it seemed like it wasnt as bad so hopefully driving it a few more times it will go back to the way it was. Has this happened to anybody else.

is the truck carbed or injected? Either way you have made a change and you need to tune the carb or let the computer adjust.

injected. its running better now plus it seemed to be a lil more responsive when you hit the gas. have to fill up today and hopefully i will pick up a mile or two with gas mileage. didnt do this for the performance just wanted a lil sound and while my buddy cut my muffler off he shined a light on my converter and it was half way clogged so he had one already gutted out and we used it
