I found the DIY which says 10/12 mm wrench to remove but it does not specify the diameter of the bolt ...

I expect to need to cut mine out, and will need to have these on hand for new does anybody know the diameter of the bolt itsself?

 

i think i used a 3/8" grade 8 when i replaced mine.

 

i used a 12mm head grade 8 or better bolt, had to round off the bolt head a lil bit.

 

i used a 12mm socket if i remember.
