I am wrapping up a carb to EFI swap on my 89 22R. Crank, no start. For whatever reason, the circuit opening relay is not passing voltage to the fuel pump. If I put power straight to the fuel pump wire, I can hear it hum, I get fuel pressure. I have tested the resistance values of the AFM, all within spec. The AFM door opens/closes just fine manually. I get spark, I have B+ to the injectors and I tested that the ECM is sending ground signal to the injectors. I know the circuit opening relay is good - not only is it new, I put it in my 85 4Runner and it fired right up. I performed all voltage tests at the ECM and the IGT ckt from the ECM to the igniter I have 0V. Spec is 0.7 - 1.0V when cranking or at idle. I checked to make sure my distributor is at #1 at TDC. I am running out of ideas. Please help! I love my 4Runner and it's doing a great job as back up daily driver, but the gas mileage sucks and it is more suited to being an off road toy.
