My good friend and I bought a 75 Hilux shell which came with an 18R-G uninstalled. We've been working on it slowly, and while it's not yet complete, we've come a long way.

Friend did most of the mechanical:

installed the 18R-G with a 5speed, and built a custom side exit exhaust, cut the front springs and new camaro shocks.

I've been working mainly on the cosmetic:

installed a dash cap, had the bench reupholstered, new door and rear window seals, new front glass and re painted the black interior pieces. Wheels are old school JDM Hayashi Racing Perrier MeshThe carpet is still yet to go in and we need to install some gauges, but the interior is mainly done. I also clayed the paint, and it brought back a lot of life to the paint. We're keeping the patina look at least for now.

Clayed just the cab (not the bed yet) in this pic.
