Met up with a friend of mine to hit the pick n pull for the half off weekend. He showed up in a truck I never knew existed & I'm a huge car junkie. I knew Toyota offered a TRD supercharger package for the 3rd gen 4Runner V6 and the Tacoma, but I never knew they had a TRD supercharger kit for the 2.7L 4 cyl. What makes it even more special is his truck is a single cab, short bed Pre-Runner.
He stole it off craigslist for $2000 because it needed a head gasket which he changed himself for the sum of $300.

The supercharger whine is awesome at wide open throttle! I'm first in line for the motor/transmission combo if he ever decides to take the 1JZ route.

so is the trd supercharger for the inline 6 that goes in the landcruiser..........

Even more rare is the TRD supercharger kit for the 99-07 LandCruiser (UJZ100 series) V8. I've seen a couple online, but never in person.

 

humm cool I wounder how much more power it makes
