Brand New Weber 32/36

    I ordered a weber 32/36 last weekend, and cording to UPS it should be arriving today:love: needless to say i've been pacing around the house peeking out windows everytime a diesel goes by:doah: even though i know UPS doesn't arrive at my house until 5:00 anyways I will post pictures later

    so I got my weber installed, and theres a damn vacuum leak still, I have plugged all visable vacuum, is there something i'm missing, also today I noticed my fuel pump was covered in oil, there is no obvious leak, ant ideas Thanx in advance

    not being able to see how you installed it....hint, hint.


    id have to guess at imperfections on the 2 piece adapter, or incorrect installation of said adapter.




    i ALWAYS take a sanding block with 200+ paper and hit the 2 piece adapter on both sides and the bottom of the carb, just to make sure its flat.

    and just to be sure, you did remove ALL of the original gasket for the stock carb and anything else that was there right? the weber should mount directly to the intake.

    Sounds like its not seating properly. remove the carb and go through everything again and double check. its the little things we pass up that usually becomes the problem. Did you use new gaskets, clean the surface well, and check all vacuum hoses ( If any)? keep us posted.
