hi guys and girls I have a 74 Hilux with a few issues.
the first one is that when I turn mu lights on the fuse blows straight away but lights stay on.
the second problem is the tail lights when the lights are on they work but when the brake is pressed in the lights don't get brighter.
also would any one have a photo of the back of there fuse panel and know where all the earth points are.

Tail lights and parking lights ground thru themselves. Check the bulbs in the tails amd mak sure theyre in there correctly. Theyre dual filaments.

I will check as soon as my guests leave after dinner. that wouldn't make my fuse blow all the time no would it. I have a owners repair manual coming soon I hope as it would help coz don't want to do anything major until the lights are sorted

The wires are shorting out somewhere. Because damn near every wire is a hot wire. One gets chaffed and it all over
