Block question

    Little late to ask that question since you just got your engine together isn't it? :lol:



    81-85 22r and 22re are the same and 86-95 are laser blocks which are all the same.

    Yeah it is but my guy tells me it's a 22re I believe him I was just curious?

    86 and later are easy to spot by the machined pad for the turbo model oil return line on the lower drivers side of the block. It is a central circle about 1 1/4" with two circles conjoined to it on either side about 1/2".
