Truck sprang a leak this weekend and I'm pretty sure it's coming from the header gasket. Just wanted to see what brands have you guys used and which ones are good. Came across this brand. Has anyone used this and have good results? http://catalog.remflex.com/TOYOTA_Header_Exhaust_Manifold_Gasket_p/rf7003.htm
you know...... i usually dont have any header gasket issues unless the flange is warped or head is warped for that matter...... starting to wonder if there is an issue with your header
Stock gasket from the dealer should work just fine,if you have tube headers I would use the LC one. Neither way you should use a quality product!!
I hope that is not the case. Just got done working on it and used a extra Fel-Pro gasket I had laying around. I also noticed one of the bolts were loose. Drove it around and tightened the nuts down again. So far so good. . . How do you check if the head/header is warped?
The Best header gasket I have used is made by SCE its soft copper and forms on tighting and will never leak.
