2wd 22re Toyota.. 1st off, get those donk wheels off it. You can do standard block drops with a torsion bar drop in front...but that will only get you so much, then like always when you take it off the jacks, you'll step back and say "its not low enough" So, click the link in my signature here and follow it to a T and you will be able to crush ants to death. My truck is a 93 also, just standard cab.
What you have: You got a grey 93 toyota pickup extra cab with a 22re... Why wouldn't you be able to lower it? Loosen the torsion bars a bit, ball joint flip it and throw some 3" blocks out back... You'll be closer to Mother Earth and spend maybe 40$ in parts and pb blast. There are some good threads on here on how to ball joint flip and crank down the torsion bars. Blocks are pretty self explanatory but I'm sure there is a write up as well.
ok cool now we're talking so i am gonna start with the wheels. keep in mind POOR MAN'S DROP lol option 1 is to put factory steel wheels on. i think they r 15'' . then the question will be what size tires will look good on it. or what r some other "CHEAP" options do i have out there? also is there a place on here that u can buy n sell used stuff? lol ANY DONATIONS will be accepted thank u guys for ur help
ok nothing yet about wheel options LOW SR5 told me i should get rid of them did even say clean them n paint.the only thing i have that is cheap for 4 me is some stock steel wheels any other cheap sizes or styles or opinions that can be offered. the 1's on there now are 18'' i got the truck with them on.
Do some google oogling and figure out what you want to do to your truck and what you think looks good, and how much parts cost and then come back here and search for how to get it done.... or else your going to end up with a body dropped truck on 35" swampers with 4 different wheels, that each one of us prefer and you can paint it rainbow with a forged piston rotory swap and NOS and sticker on the bumper that says "gts spyder- special edition". Seen it before, true story.
