22R engine. Does the alt come out through the top or through the bottom ? Looks to be a tight fit. 22R w/ Pwr steering and A/C plus air pump.

On my 91 I think I took it out through the bottom after I took the fan shroud out

 

mines came out the top but with no pwr steering and a/c

 

w/steering and all that you might have to remove it from the bottom

 

you are most likely going to have to remove the lower radiator hose, ive done mine so many times that i found a good way to knock it out without removing anything.
