Hey guys. Does anyone know where I can score some aftermarket torsion bars for my 81 2wd? I wanna drop it, but I am afraid of the ride suffering. I wanna put my s2000 in the garage and daily the yota. i already have wheels and tires waiting to go on so Im itching to get stiffer torsions and the beefed kit for the rear! I know Sway-a-way makes them but I am having trouble locating them on the web. Any other options? Would 84 and later torsions work? Thanks ahead!

 

I found a set on ebay one day for 150 new.

Havent seen em sold since, but they might turn up someday.

And no, 84+ wont fit. You might be able to swap them if you also swap the two mounting point thingys.
