My daughters 1995 toyota pickup 4X4 (not tacoma) will die after running 5 or 6 miles. It'll start back up 30 seconds to a minute later & the farther she goes the more often it'll happen. It seems to be getting worse the more she tries to drive it also. The whole story goes: I rebuilt the engine. Two weeks after the truck was back on the road it started doing this. At the time the engine was put back in there was a new alternator put on. Also new fuel filter, and just replaced the fuel pump. Also replaced the coil and igniter with a different one (not new) but the problem persists. Any ideas? Thank you. :)

May check that used igniter. Is it from a Toyota model
Fuel pump grounds and connections obstructions at the fuel rail it sounds somewhat electrical as if a component is loosing a connection or over heated .also is the mas air meter in good shape clean well connected no air leaks

Sounds small but try changing the fuel cap. It's far and few between it happens but as the truck warms up it can vapor lock if the gas cap is no good anymore.

Thanks friends but I found the problem. Apparently the fuel pump relay crapped out. Had to tear the passenger side of the dash out to get to it, but once I found it, it tested bad with an ohm meter & had parts rattling around inside of it. Figured it out by jumping the fuel pump in the diagnostic port under the hood. Once I did that, it didn't stop running. Thanks again for the input!! :)
