I want to change my dash cluster from the stock one with only temp and fuel gauges to one with full gauges, oil, temp, fuel, voltage output, and rpms. I found one from a 94 4wd. Will this work in my truck? If so, what will I need to do to get the gauges to work? Will new cluster plug into dash without having to replace wiring harness or is the wiring harness different? I know I will have to change sending units from idiot lights to gauge sending units.

I was wondering the same thing the other day when my speedometer stopped working. I bet it's going to be quite involved.

Thanks Robert, with your help I now have my SR5 dash installed. Everything is working except the oil pressure gauge which I haven't installed the correct sending unit yet. Had to run a wire to get the tach working. Tach needs adjusting I think, seems a little slow.
