I have a fuel problem with my 93 Toyota 22 re pick up . Truck will crank over but not start, i have narrowed it down to a problem with the volume air unit not opening up to supply voltage to the fuel pump.I have tried a new unit and it still won't fire up. i can open the shutter door up and hold it open and the truck starts up and runs.I have voltage going to the volume air unit, the voltage is 12v.And the connections are dry and clean. What should i check next?

Check connections to the coolant sensors on the pass side of the intake manifold. Mine were shorting out not letting the truck start after my rebuild.

Is your intake pipe hooked up from the throttle body to the VAFM? with no leaks?
