I have a 93 single cab and I'm gonna lower it when I get out of training . I was wondering how low can I get with my 17"s without rubbing and what not
you can do the quick and cheapest route is crank the torsion bars about 2-3 inches and 2-3 inch drop blocks for rear, as long as the offset it pretty decent on the wheels they will tuck and trun no problem, since the 89-94 fenders flare out much more than the others..
I was thinking bout buying the 3" lower arms 2" drop spindles for the front and getting 3" bell tech springs and 2" drop blocks trying to get a 5" drop but idk if I'll run into problems with the rims being to big
Idk what I'm running i just got the truck and im way way far from home to check but I know they are dodge ram rims I believe
With 4" blocks, I had a hair over 1 1/2" of clearance. When I carried 5 cases of water, I was hitting at every dip. You should definitely get a notch at 5"
If you go past 3"/3", you are going to rub. what 3" Lower arms are you talking about? I have 15" rims with stock size tires and at 4"/4", the front and the rear rubbed and at 3"/4" just the rear.
I'm getting ready to get my parts for the 5/5 drop I got several questions 1. Do I need to c notch the frame or can I get away with it 2. What kind of shocks should I get for lowered trucks 3. Will I rub with my 17"s or am I better off getting 4x4 fenders
1. Yes, also notch the mid cross member that's underneath the back of the cab or you will be riding on your drive shaft. 2. Drop shocks, Beltech or Doetsh 3. Yes
