So i finally decided to start working on My pickup and imma start with unwinding the torsión bars this coming monday (only day free this week) Can anybody with the same setup give me a heads up on what.Kinda ride quaility to expect?? (Cruising and around corners ) The rear is gonna recieve 3 inch lowering blocks Also any advise on doing this project would help
The front will get kinda bumpy because of less travel in the front, trimming or removing your bumpstops will give you some travel back, same goes for the back..
What Toxic said^ i was running 3" blockes with adjusted torsions to match...if u leave the bumpstops its gonna be shotty! But if u remove um it will be cheryy, just a little soft. Just avoid potholes and such haha
Right on i Kinda figured that when I was looking under it Gonna be Kinda hard avoiding potholes on these roads tho Haha Thanx tho guys
Also if you drop the rear too much you'll have to notch the crossmember right after the cab as the driveshaft will rub on it. You might wanna measure for clearence before you start.
Well I went ahead with it and everything came out juust Fine n easy The front end is kinda bumpy but im sure some new shocks would help it out Nothing to throw a hissy fit over As for the rear shaving the bumpstops helped out no doubt Thanks for the heads up guys
i didnt shave the front bumpstops its not too bad tho its bearable glad on how it ended up looking tho
Haha I wouldnt say cheating more like.........taking the easy way Haha Thanks tho Time to get rid of My front bench n get some buckets
