89 pick-up just got it.

    just got my 89 toyota pick-up. i use to have a 91 but it was totaled from a rear end. so they cashed me out so now i bought this. one. o ya and by the way my name is nate and this is my truck,!

    and yes im going to get rid of the ugly ass rims. but my plans one im able to get rid of my other car is to get the engine rebuilt and the tranny. in the tranny i want to get a stage 1 clutch and a 9lb fly wheel. but a question i have does anybody know if the 22RE Pro Top End Kit P/U from lcengineering is street legal in California.

    Shouldn't be any problem,Carb sticker for the headers is all you'll need!
    Have their Pro Street EFI engine w/ all the goodies,no probelm @ smog checks!
    If you run a non stock air filter,make sure you pull air from outside the engine bay & enclose the filter. If not could fail visual check.:cool:

    well the top end kit come with all this
    LC Engineering's EFI Pro Top End Kit includes, Pro Cylinder Head with Camshaft, Street Header Kit, K&N FIPK Filter Kit, Big Bore Throttle Body, 22RE Crane Ignition Kit, 8 New Rocker Arms, Complete Gasket Kit and LCE Valve Cover (Red, Silver or Black).
    it does not come with a cold air intake.

    well i got tired of the stiff ride when i bought it so i brought the rear back up to stock height. but the front is still lowered. so i am going to keep it like that for a little bit. but it sure does look mean. but i am at work right now and i will take some pictures and post them tomorrow when the sun comes back out.

    sad to hear about the total... but i have to say any totaled yota pickup can be fixed lol
