I have started by removing the bed and using some rust extend on the bottom of the bed as well as a few spot on the chassis. Just a bit of surface rust no problems. I am in the slow process of stripping it down to send it to be painted.
Gonna replace the frt wheel well liners and undercoat there too. I just finished undercoating the bed.

What steps did you take to paint the frame? The frame and rear end looks brand new. What color you gonna be painting the truck?

The truck will be painted red again. I pressure washed the frame as well as the bottom of the bed, the frame and rear end I painted with Loctite Rust extend where there was some slight surface rust, then I sprayed the frame with some black roll bar and chasis paint from Advance auto. There was some over spray on the frame from an old paint job that I sprayed over. The frame and bed are both in real good shape for one of these old yota's. Thanks for the reply.
