hi i have a sr5 cluster that works in the 84-88 trucks but has the 85mph speedo the milage reads 202,063 miles came from a 85 toyota truck i dont have a pic atm cause my cam is having issues but ill try to get one im looking to get 70 shipped obo. looking to sell quick so i can send my head to the machine shop for cleaning, surfacing and new vavle stem seals
yes ive done the converson when yo swap clusters you have to change 2 things 1 the oil pressure sending unit must be changed to the one with the gauge instead of the light, if you dont it will burn up the oil pressure guage, dont use teflon tape when installing. 2 one wire must be run from the coil plug (look under the hood at the coil you will see a small round plug with a dust cap on it), run the wire from there directly in the back of the guage cluster. theres a write up on yotatech.com it took me a hour my 1st time swaping stuff over but that uncluded me going to the parts store for wire and the sending unit. for a extra 35 bucks ill go get a aftermarket sending unit.
