For starters hello all this is my first post.

So the Steering on my 83 4x4 is buggered.
I can't remember what the part is called at the moment but it's a major steering rod component thinger with a ball end that screws into a rod  Man I wish I could remember what it was called.
    Anyways
I tried to get a new piece but have been told by numerous sources that the piece is no longer being manufactured. So I can't get an oem or aftermarket replacement.
    However
I was told that they make a rebuild kit for this piece to make it viable again. I did this but it is an imperfect solution because I still have a lot of play in my steering.
    So my question is this
How can I make my truck steer correctly again?

    i'd honestly suggest www.pirate4x4.com/forum

they have what they call the toyota bible. but be warned, if you ask a question thats been asked once before they turn into a bunch of *******s about using the search button.. and unless you're a member there isn't a search button.. lol

easy way to search without signing up is search google and include pirate4x4 in the search.
