76 Celica 22RE project

    Hi Toyota Minis I've been a fan for awhile now, just finally decided to join. Thanks for all the great information;) Couple of my older projects were a 1987 and 1994 Toyota Pickup's. My current project is a 1976 Celica GT coupe that I picked up as a rolling shell, and I'm doing a 22re conversion to it. I pulled the motor/trans/ecu out of a 91 Pickup.

    Welcome,
    You probably will not be happy with that trans from the truck. The ratios are not suited to "fun" driving in that celica. Get a w58 from a 80-85 celica or celica supra.
