My name is Heinrich and I own a 60-62 Toyopet Stout. Just started the restoration process and are hoping to get advice and tips regarding the restoration and especially the availability of spare parts.

    Uploaded Pics. Enjoy!
This pickup was one of the first 10 Toyotas imported to South Africa. My late grand father bought this one. It’s been in the family its entire lifespan.
Now it is my time to restore it to its former glory. It is still in running condition. Breaks: We replaced master and slave cylinders and just need to connect the hydraulic pipes.
As you can see in the pics, I am in dire need of a steering wheel.
I want to bring it back to original state. No aftermarket parts….

Pretty cool seeing that. RHD and all. I wish you luck on your journey to find all the OEM parts.
