Off hand could someone tell me what's going on when your tranny just pops out of gear after shifting. When i shift into 4th gear and then give it gas it just pops back out. If I just keep a little bit of pressure on the selector before I give it any gas and then let go it is fine. Then after that point it doesn't pop out... And it just started doing it and in 4th gear only. Thanks
There is a plastic cap on the ball end of the shifter. It could be worn.This would cause it to pop out.

I was going to suggest new shifter bushings. Heavy Duty Shift Lever Ball Seats | Marlin Crawler, Inc. Heavy Duty Shift Lever Socket | Marlin Crawler, Inc. Ours should be the white one.
