aight so i got lucky and found some decent condition bucket seats from a 91 4runner today. ive read up on a few articles saying that they'll just bolt right in. but when i went to remove the bench i realized that there are only 2 holes instead of the 4 needed to mount the seat. so i was wondering if all i needed to do was drill 2 more holes? i really cant think of anything else to do in order to make the seats properly fit. any suggestions would be great since i dont know what the hell im doing.

i haven't done it but i would imagine drilling a few extra holes would work. just make sure to use some big fender washers to keep the bolt from pulling through the sheetmetal in the event of an accident.

Well I have the seats out of a 92 runner in my truck and its pretty easy. You can use the two front and back outside bolts that the bench was bolted down to before. As for the inside bolts I took out the seatbelt by the trans tunnel, once thats taken out the back hole will line up with the seat bracket. All you have to do then is modify the metal seatbelt bracket so that when you tighten the bolt back down the belt isnt all twisted. Basicly just re shape it to your needs with a BFH lol. The last bolt in the front if you line up the seat with the other bolts you can take a center punch and poke it right through the hole in the seat bracket and there should be an opening. if you lift up the carpet you will see what I mean. The front is a long hollow rail that the bracket bolts to. you just have to tack a nut to the inside or hold an open end wrench to stop the nut from moving it. I have a 94 if it makes any diffrence but thats how it worked for me. Its pretty straight forward but if you have any questions just shoot me a PM and I'll try and help you out. Good Luck !

yeah, u shouldnt need to deal any extra holes. u just need to buy 2 bolts and nuts, with washers. Then do what MiScHi3v0uS MiNi said..
