cardboard and elmers glue. Wit a dash of glitter.... Make a template, cut it out on metal. Shape to fit. weld it up. then body work til its straight
its actually not hard to remove it. Just has 5 bars goin across (5 if u have a ex cab) Then its just squeezed in between the back glass and molding.
I shaved and Frenched in an LED strip without removing my headliner at all. I was a lil worried I would burn it during welding but it wasn't an issue. If you just want to shave it, its one hole about the size of a half dollar and then 3 other small holes where the screws and plastic inserts go (on my 94 standard cab anyway). Keep in mind a lot of local laws state that if the vehicle came with a 3rd light, it's illegal to remove it. I would just claim it didn't come with one as my (same body style) 92 doesn't have one at all.
