Does anyone know what gear ratio I need to run 35"s on my '88? It is a 22RE and quite an old truck so I want to be easy on it. I am more of a lowered guy so I don't know off the top of my head.

If you want to help out that little 4 cylinder then 5.29's. I currently have 5.29's on my 84 and ran 35's for a few months. I was able to use 5th gear. Cruising speed of 70mph my rpm was at 3000.

Fokai is right- definitely run 5:29 with a 22RE.

i second that 5:29's are suggested for 35's. if you see yourself however changing back down to 33's i would go 4:88's.
